January 16, 2008
To our dear friends,
Many changes take place in life, both planned and unexpected, and as with anyone else we have had a number of changes in our D&A family. After considerable thought, we have decided to close the D&A Fine Arts gallery this coming January. We are incredibly proud of what we have accomplished and have made great strides in representing both emerging and mid-career artists of the highest caliber in Southern California. It has been a wonderful three years and closing the gallery will absolutely not mean the end of our work both in California and nationally.
Dena will be moving back to Seattle and continuing her business (Dena Rigby Fine Arts) acting as a consultant for collectors, museums, and non-profits. 2008 is already scheduled with projects in Los Angeles, Portland, and Seattle. She will also continue her work with collectors of all levels, helping them to build thoughtful and unique collections with artwork of the highest quality.
Anne is extending her involvement in Progressive Planning and carrying on the tradition that Marvin Cohen started as an insurance broker, with a focus on personal attention paid towards his clients. In addition, Anne remains committed to art consulting by placing extraordinary pieces of artwork, with exceptional clients.
D&A began with a shared vision that we could bring something fresh to the arena of the contemporary glass world and we feel that it was successful because of our exceptional artists and clients. Our relationship with you is how this all happened.
Thank you so much for being a part of what has been a wonderful experience. Please do stay in touch. Our individual contact information is below.
Our very best wishes for a healthy and prosperous new year,
Dena Rigby & Anne Cohen
